Golfing

Our lodges sit opposite the top holes of Killin Golf Course, which has been described as "A Gem of Scottish golf". It has a charming nine hole course and is pleased to welcome visitors of all golfing abilities. The Clubhouse provides super food and a licensed bar. Guests will find this delightful course can easily be played on a summer's evening after a day out exploring further afield. Further information can be found at the Killin Golf Course website. Golfing is available in Perthshire to suit all abilities. Whether you seek top quality championship courses, or country 9 hole courses, the variety in terrain and degree of difficulty provides something for everyone whether enthusiast or beginner.

Superlative courses like Gleneagles and Loch Lomond are about an hours drive from Killin, while The Rosemount at Blairgowrie, Saint Andrews, Carnoustie and Royal Troon can all accessed quite easily from Killin Highland Lodges.

Good 18 hole courses are plentiful in Perthshire. Just driving 15 miles along the side of Loch Tay will take you to Taymouth Castle Golf Course, designed over 100 years ago by James Braid, and offering challenging golf amid spectacular scenery.

Callander, Pitlochry, Alyth, Rosemount, Aberfoyle, Crieff and Auchterarder all have 18 hole courses which are moderately challenging and all within 90 minutes drive of the Lodges.

Wonderful 9 hole courses at Killin, Kenmore, Dunkeld, St Fillans, Muthill and Comrie are each within an hours drive from Killin Highland Lodges.

Perthshire Golfing Tickets.

If you wish to play a variety of courses then the Perthshire Highland 9 hole discount card allowing you to play eleven superb 9 hole courses is available at £50 for 5 days or £32 for 3 days. Participating courses include Killin, St Fillans, Comrie, Crieff Dornoch, Muth ill and Kenmore (all within 1 hour's drive of Killin Highland Lodges)

Similarly a variety of 18 hole courses can be played using the Perthshire Green Card 18 which offers 5 rounds for £82 or 3 rounds for£50. The courses participating include Taymouth Castle , Aberfeldy, Crieff and Dunkeld and Birnam. (all within 1 ½ hours drive of Killin Highland Lodges)
