The village of Killin offers lots to see and do. From exploring the ruins of Finlarig Castle, visiting Moirlanich Longhouse, or taking in the breathtaking experience of the Falls of Dochart (particularly wonderful after a period of heavy rainfall). Further information on what the local area offers can be found here.
We keep a list of some good local walks available for you in the Lodges as well as Ordnance Survey Maps which you are invited to borrow during your stay. If you enjoy walking there are walks to suit everyone, from gentle strolls which are pushchair friendly (some originally designed for Queen Victoria), to challenging hill walking and Munros.
Detailed information on these various walks in the Killin, Loch Tay, Aberfeldy and Glen Lyon area can be found here.
Killin Highland Lodges sit at the base of the Tarmachan Ridge and a gate at the back of our park gives you easy access to Meall nan Tarmachan and the surrounding foothills.
The Killin Outdoor Centre in the village is also a great place to get advice on local walking, cycling and watersports.
